How are we different?
Most vitamin E supplements contain synthetic DL-alpha-tocopherols which contain clockwise rotating (D) and counterclockwise rotating (L) variants, to which the "DL" prefix refers. By contrast, only D-alpha-tocopherol is bioactive and occurs naturally in the body. Synthetic vitamin E has a lower bioavailability, is in some cases ineffective, and may even be harmful. Our high-dose vitamin E therefore contains exclusively D-alpha tocopherol as it appears in the body and is, also in contrast to synthetic vitamin E, 100% free from hidden additives.

Bioactive Alpha-Tocopherol
Vitamin E is a group of 8 different compounds: 4 tocopherols and 4 tocotrienols, each distinguished by the prefix alpha, beta, gamma or delta.
Of all forms of vitamin E, alpha-tocopherol has the highest bioactivity. It is also the only form recognised as fulfilling vitamin E requirements in humans; all other forms of vitamin E are measured against alpha-tocopherol.
The molecule alpha-tocopherol occurs in several geometric variants. Natural alpha-tocopherol always takes the form of RRR-alpha-tocopherol (formerly referred to as D-alpha-tocopherol), and only this form exhibits the desired biological effects on the body. Synthetic vitamin E, typically a combination of various isomers, is less bioavailable and bioactive. Our liquid multivitamin drops provide only natural, bioactive RRR-alpha-tocopherol.

Take 1–2 drops daily at mealtimes.
Note: Due to the natural vitamin E contained (derived from sunflower seeds), this product may have a slightly bitter taste/odour. The vitamin E might also cause the formulation to take on a viscous consistency.
Daily Requirements
The EU recommends an intake of 12mg of vitamin E per day. The German Nutrition Society recommends a daily intake of 12mg vitamin E for women and 14mg for men.
