Who should take a vitamin B12 urine test?
Vitamin B12 deficiency is widespread and is considered to be the cause of many physical and psychological symptoms; everybody is therefore advised to have their vitamin B12 status checked. As vitamin B12 is only found in animal foods, vegetarians and vegans are particularly at risk of vitamin B12 deficiency. Additionally, many people have difficulties absorbing this vital vitamin despite sufficient intake.
