How are we different?

Thyroid Balance is a well-balanced vital complex with iodine and selenium for supporting thyroid function, developed in collaboration with Dr. Johannes Richter at the German Thyroid Center of Berlin. A complete complex with 13 choice nutrients blended from core components for thyroid hormone production (iodine, selenium) and a natural matrix of secondary phytochemicals from herbs, roots, and medicinal mushrooms. Includes ultra pure extracts of Rhodiola rosea, ashwagandha, brahmi, schisandra, and natural Chinese yam powder. The complex is rounded off with four high-quality functional mushroom extracts from cordyceps, reishi, agaricus and hericium. Each plant-based ingredient includes a natural diversity of secondary phytochemicals, essential oils, vitamins, and trace elements that enrich our Thyroid Balance as a whole.

Our unique formula is much more than just a multinutrient supplement. Almost all the individual ingredients are naturally sourced and where this is not possible, we use bioidentical, bioactive ingredients from fermentation or in ultra pure pharmaceutical quality. Our formulas distinguish themselves in comparison to generic alternatives because we prioritise natural ingredients without the use of controversial additives such as preservatives, sweeteners, and fillers.

Thyroid Balance contains:

The amino acid L-tyrosine from non-GMO fermentation instead of synthetically produced L-tyrosine. Iodine as high-quality potassium iodide and selenium as optimally available sodium selenite.

Vitamin A as vegan retinyl palmitate in pharmaceutical quality. Plant-based food sources do not contain any directly bioactive vitamin A, but only the precursor beta-carotene, which must first be converted to vitamin A by the body. In many people, this conversion is very inefficient, which can lead to a vitamin A deficiency. Our retinyl palmitate is a highly pure premium active ingredient in pharmaceutical quality, which can be converted to directly bioactive vitamin A by all people without any problems.

Pure water-ethanol mushroom extracts with 30% polysaccharides from cordyceps, reishi, agaricus and hericium. They come from the top cultivation region for medicinal mushrooms in Gutian County (600-700m.a.s.l.), Fujian, in a naturally idyllic location surrounded by wooded mountains. All plant extracts are pure water-ethanol extracts without contamination from toxic extracting agents (e.g., methanol, N-hexane or acetone). Rhodiola rosea (rose root) comes from wild collection in the untouched nature of the Altai Mountains in Siberia with the full range of valuable phytochemicals. The premium ashwagandha extract in the original KSM-66® provides all the components of the root in a natural ratio and is the world's most concentrated and most bioavailable full-spectrum whitanolide extract. Our Schisandra (Chinese berry grape) extract comes from China, the original home region of the plant. The light root powder is obtained from the whole root tubers of Dioscorea batata from exclusively male plants grown on quartz-containing sandy soil in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
