Our okra extract was developed in collaboration with specialists Dr. Sven Georgi and Dr. Thomas Fiedler. This pure botanical extract is obtained from the fruit of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) via pure, food-grade water-ethanol extraction in a 4:1 ratio. No other solvents, such as methanol or acetone, are used in the production of this extract, thus preserving the natural purity of the raw material.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.
Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) is one of the world's oldest vegetables; it originates from Africa and has been used in cooking and traditional herbalism for thousands of years. Okra is mainly grown in warm and subtropical regions of the world. Its fruit is a long, green pod, which is the most commonly used part of the plant and is characterised by its mild yet tangy flavour and aroma. It is also known for its high content of natural mucilage, a form of dietary fibre that swells when cooked in plenty of water.
Take 2 capsules twice daily with 200ml water with a meal.
