Sodium bicarbonate (natron) is a common ingredient in alkalising powders. The sodium bicarbonate we use is characterised by a particularly high purity of over 99%. It is vegan, non-GMO and the sole ingredient in our sodium bicarbonate capsules - with no hidden additives.
The alkaline pH value of around 8.5 can help to neutralise stomach acid, which is why bicarbonate compounds should always be taken separately from meals.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
A balanced acid-base ratio is one of the most important prerequisites for the health of the entire body. All metabolic processes in the body's cells and the transport of substances between cells and tissues are influenced by the ratio of acids and bases. Due to its enormous importance for human health, the acid-base system has numerous buffer systems that serve to regulate a constant pH value in the blood, in the intercellular tissue and within the cells. Bicarbonates, which are formed by specialised cells in the stomach, are an important component of this system. An unhealthy lifestyle, characterised by stress, an unhealthy diet and environmental pollution, can disturb the balance and lead to latent hyperacidity in the body.
Take 4 capsules (1000mg sodium bicarbonate per capsule) with 200ml water on an empty stomach daily. Only take independently of meals; take at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
