This at-home saliva test helps determine the current hormone status of men. This hormone test for men provides information about the current hormone status. Knowledge of the male hormone profile is relevant for sexual dysfunction with reduced libido, impotence, hypogonadism and hormonal imbalances with tiredness, depression and weight gain.
It examines the following sex hormones:
- testosterone
- estradiol (oestradiol)
- progesterone
As well as the stress hormones:

How to Use
How to Use
No tablets or capsules containing hormones should be taken for 12 hours prior to the test and no creams or gels containing hormones should be used for 24-48 hours prior. The three saliva samples are to be taken 30 minutes apart in the morning. The exact procedure can be found in the enclosed instructions.
On the day of sample collection, the following points should be noted:
- Take the saliva sample before or at least 30 minutes after brushing teeth
- Do not mix the saliva with blood (e.g., from bleeding gums) and do not use mouthwash
- Rinse mouth with clean water before taking the sample and wait until saliva flow has normalised
- Do not eat or drink before or during collection of the saliva sample, as food may contain hormones which may skew the results
- Follow the instructions while taking the sample
After taking the sample:
- Return it free of charge in the enclosed mailing bag, preferably not directly before the weekend or national holidays
