Our freeze-dried puree is made from organic mangos, bananas and carrots and enriched with organic Hericium erinaceus powder.
Mango
Mangos were mentioned in ancient India as the "food of the gods;" fruit as a gift is still regarded as a sign of wealth. The mango tree can grow up to 35m high and produce fruit for over 300 years. Originally from India, the mango tree now thrives in all tropical regions of the world. Over 1000 varieties of mango have been cultivated, which differ by shape, size and flavour.
Banana
The banana (Musa cavendish) is the fruit of the evergreen herbaceous banana plant (also known as banana palm), which grows in clusters. The fruits of the banana plant are technically berries. The high content of complex and simple carbohydrates found in bananas makes them an excellent source of energy.
Carrot
The carrot (Daucus carota) is a wild plant native to Europe and belongs to the umbellifer family (Apiaceae). Originally from the region around Afghanistan, carrots are now cultivated worldwide. They are known for their bright orange colour, although there are also varieties in yellow, red, white and purple.
Hericium
Hericium Erinaceum – also known as lion's mane and bearded hedgehog – is considered a delicacy among edible mushrooms in Asia due to its fine aromas. Hericium has always been highly valued both in Asian natural history and by the indigenous peoples of North America.
