Essential oils have been used internally in the form of spices, herbal teas and tinctures for thousands of years. Each essential oil has a highly individualised and complex composition made of hundreds of phytochemicals. In their highly concentrated form, pure essential oils can cause irritation to the body, which is why they have only been used for consumption under certain circumstances. However, using new patented technology, these concentrated oils can now be used as a purely natural and 100% plant-based food supplement.
Our clary sage is sourced from France and grown via organic cultivation without the use of artificial fertilisers or pesticides. The only other ingredient is premium gum arabic, cultivated without the use of plant protection products. In contrast to microcrystalline cellulose, a widely used synthetic filler often mixed with nanoparticles, gum arabic is a natural, fibre-rich food. Our fair trade gum arabic is climate neutral and is sustainably cultivated to conserve resources.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
