AFA
The algal superfood AFA is a unicellular organism and type of blue green algae (Aphanizomenon flos-aquae, Latin for "invisible flower of the water") that can also be considered a cyanobacteria ("blue-green algae") species. It only grows in the wild in lakes and ponds, especially in the deepest and most pristine waters of Klamath Lake (USA).
It is known as one of the richest superfood algae due to its uniquely broad spectrum of typical ingredients. Moreover, the AFA algae is rich in valuable plant substances such as chlorophyll and phycocyanin, which are responsible for its typical dark, blue-green colour.
