Omega-3 fatty acids are a special category of polyunsaturated fatty acids. They form an integral part of bodily cell membranes and are a precursor of important tissue hormones. Eicosanoid tissue hormones formed from Omega-3 fatty acids influence several important bodily functions including brain and heart functioning.
The biologically active omega-3 fatty acids are docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA). The EFSA has so far approved the following statements on the effect:
DHA and EPA

Vitamin D and Vitamin K2
Vitamin D and vitamin K2 are cofactors in the regulation of calcium metabolism. If a vitamin K2 deficiency exists while taking vitamin D3, there is a risk of excessive calcium storage in vessels and organs (risk of calcification, arteriosclerosis, kidney stones, etc.). - the protection of DNA, proteins and lipids from oxidative damage
