Using deionised water, our NADH is enzymatically extracted as beta-NADH from the plant-based raw materials, NAD and D-glucose. It is then purified to a high degree of purity and freeze-dried as a powder. This results in a highly pure, plant-based raw material of natural origin.
The D(+) galactose used is derived from the natural gum arabic of the acacia tree, which is native to the African continent. No animal ingredients such as gelatine, hair or feathers are used in the production process and only renewable raw materials are used. Our D(+) galactose powder is therefore 100% vegan and has a purity level of 99%+.
In contrast to chemically synthesised ribose, which often contains L-ribose, which is rarely found in nature, our ribose powder consists of 100% natural D-ribose. To be truly plant-based, our D-ribose is obtained from fermented glucose. During this process, microorganisms use the pentose phosphate pathway, which is the same metabolic pathway as we humans use. This results in pure D-ribose, as L-ribose is unusable for the organisms. No animal components such as gelatine, hair or feathers are used in the production process and only renewable raw materials are used. Our D-Ribose powder has a purity level of 98.0%+ and is 100% vegan. The natural D-form of ribose is also compatible with fructose intolerance.
We use patented, gastric acid-resistant HPMC capsules (DR® Caps) as capsule shells. For the packaging, we use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic.
NAD/NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride) is the biologically active form of vitamin B3 (niacin). It occurs naturally in every living body and plant cell. Alternately called coenzyme 1, NADH is an important coenzyme of the respiratory chain and is involved in many important processes in the body.
Take 1 capsule (5mg NADH per capsule) with 200ml water daily before a meal.
