Our patented maqui berry extract MaquiBright® (Aristotelia chilensis) is obtained from fresh and frozen Patagonian maqui berries via pure water extraction. No other solvents such as methanol or acetone are used, thus preserving the natural purity of the raw material. For technical production reasons, maltodextrin is used as a carrier. We also use premium, fibre-rich gum arabic grown without pesticides as a purely natural filler. Our gum arabic comes from climate-neutral, sustainable, resource-saving and fair cultivation.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic for packaging.
