The blood rain alga (Haematococcus pluvialis) is a type of microalgae that is known for its striking red colour. This is caused by the carotenoid astaxanthin, which is also found in various fruits and vegetables and produces the characteristic colour of salmon and flamingos. Astaxanthin is a natural protective substance of the algae, which is increasingly produced in difficult living conditions. Natural astaxanthin from microalgae contains the entire carotenoid spectrum.

How are we different?
For the production of our liposomal, water-soluble astaxanthin, we use a 100% natural, purely plant-based water-ethanol extract from blood rain algae (Haematococcus-pluvialis). Using homogenised raw materials and pure water, special attention is paid to the formulation and the size of the liposomes. We also ensure an optimal ratio of astaxanthin to phospholipids. Derived from sunflowers grown in Europe, our natural phospholipids eliminate the need for soy-based lecithin. The size of the liposomes is well below 500nm, the upper limit for ideal stability and bioavailability in the digestive tract. The product is stabilised exclusively with natural sea buckthorn extract and malic acid from fermentation, completely eliminating the use of citric acid. The product is bottled in light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic, under exclusion of oxygen.

Directions
Take 5ml (approximately 1 teaspoon) with water or fruit juice daily. Shake well after removing from the refrigerator.
Food Supplement
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat (ideally in the refrigerator). Once opened, use within 8 weeks.
Some effervescence is a normal reaction of the ingredients at higher temperatures. As our product contains a higher concentration of active ingredients than comparable products, the reaction may be slightly more pronounced. However, the product can still be consumed without any concerns. This reaction is reversible when stored at refrigerator temperature.
Before opening the product, please ensure it is stored in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Please do not freeze the product.
