Our Greek mountain tea extract is obtained by pure 6:1 water/ethanol extraction. Due to the natural extraction from dried flowers and leaves, the beneficial polyphenols and flavonoids are many times more concentrated than typical extracts, while the natural spectrum of the ingredients is largely preserved. No further solvents such as methanol or acetone are used, so the natural purity of the raw material is retained.
As our production process requires a filler substance, we use small amounts of gum arabic as the only other ingredient in this extract. To ensure the highest possible purity, we use high-quality, non-GMO gum arabic derived from African acacia trees.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
