When selecting our raw materials, we made sure to use highly active bacterial strains. These are produced under strictly controlled conditions through modern fermentation, which excludes contact with genetically manipulated bacterial strains, which are often found on the market to keep production costs down.
Our Flora Immune Defence is composed of a selected blend of 2 special strains of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus plantarum LP28, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LRH113), vitamin C and dietary fibre. These bacteria are cultivated under strictly controlled conditions to prevent contact with genetically modified products. Our Flora Immune Defence is composed of a select mixture of 2 special strains of lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus plantarum LP28, Lactobacillus rhamnosus LRH113), vitamin C and dietary fibre. The cultivation of these bacteria takes place under standardised and controlled conditions. The fermentation process is followed by purification and gentle freeze-drying to ensure optimal viability of the lactic acid bacteria. In addition, important metabolic products of the lactic acid bacteria are also preserved in the end product. The two selected Lactobacillus strains are characterised by excellent survivability even in high concentrations of bile salts and the conditions of the digestive tract. The added maltodextrin serves as a food base for the living bacteria. Microcrystalline cellulose is used as a carrier in this product, allowing for a more precise dosage.
We consciously combine the lactic acid with buffered vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate – for the normal function of the immune system – and with hydrolysed guar gum Sunfiber®️ from the Indian guar bean. The dietary fibres serve as a food source for bifido and lactobacteria.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
