Finest Origin - Highest Grade

The Atlas cedars, which thrive at an elevation of 500 metres, unfold their expansive splendour in the picturesque natural surroundings of Provence in France. The trees are cultivated and cared for with passion by the long-standing family business and harvested between November and February. The region offers ideal climatic conditions for the harmonious development of rarely occurring sesquiterpenes, β-, α- and γ- Himachalene and the sesquiterpene ketone Trans-α-Atlantone. After harvesting, the wood is processed into the aromatic essential oil by the experienced distillers using steam in their own distillery.

Farm

The manufacturer of this essential oil is a family-run company based in France, which was founded around 1990. It specialises in the certified organic cultivation of indigenous aromatic plants, and has global cooperatives. The aromas of the plants, obtained either via steam distillation or cold pressing, is highly regarded in the perfume industry. The producer's many years of experience in organic cultivation as well as a passion for production are reflected in the harmoniously balanced essential oils. Their products are certified with the EU organic seal.

Cedar

The Atlas cedar belongs to the pine family (Pinaceae). Its original distribution is the Atlas Mountains at elevations of around 1,300 to 2,200 metres. Today, the tree is cultivated worldwide in temperate climate zones and can be found as an ornamental tree in gardens and parks. Atlas cedars can live up to 900 years and reach a height of around 55 metres. The evergreen conifer bears blue-green needles 2-2.5 cm long. The flowering period with male or female blossoms is in October and November.

Aroma

The resinous, herbaceous aromas of Atlas cedar relax, strengthen and harmonise. The mild sweetness helps to release anxiety and promotes calmness and self-confidence.
