Finest Origin - Highest Grade

The wild carrot grows at an elevation of 760 metres on the manufacturer's Provençal estate. Between September and October, the wild plants are harvested at different stages of ripeness in order to achieve a particularly complex flavour in the essential oil. Carrot seed essential oils are known to have different chemotypes due to their origin and the way they are produced. In this essential oil, ɑ-pinene, geranyl acetate and sabinene dominate the composition of natural active ingredients. After harvesting, the essential oil is distilled using gentle steam. The manufacturers' passion for high-quality essential oils is reflected in this certified organic carrot seed oil.

Farm

This essential oil is produced by certified organic partners who have been running an organic farm and distillery in the Occitane region of France since 2018. The owners are dedicated to innovative and sustainable methods of controlled organic cultivation of aromatic plants and cultivate land in the Gard, Loire and Provence regions. They also work with numerous organic farmers and producers in France, Spain, Nepal and Madagascar. Their passion for producing and distributing essential oils and hydrosols is reflected in the high quality of their products, which have been certified organic since 2018.

Wild carrot

The wild carrot (Daucus Carota) is a wild plant native to Europe and belongs to the umbellifer family (Apiaceae). The widespread biennial plant with delicate, feathery leaves can reach a height of around 1.40 metres, but is usually smaller with growth heights of 50cm - 1m. The wild carrot is characterised by its double corymbose inflorescence with mostly white flowers that form a dark-coloured dot, the anthocyanin dot, in the centre. When wet, the umbel contracts like a bird's nest. Traditionally, the wild carrot was used for menstrual problems, as a worming cure, digestive complaints or for treating wounds on the skin.

Aroma

The earthy, spicy-sweet aroma helps to break free from stiffness and discover new possibilities with a creative perspective.
