Calcium citrate is a calcium form with high bioavailability; it is also suitable for those with sensitive stomachs or guts. With a calcium content of 24%, this slightly alkaline citrate form is particularly well-absorbed and has rapid availability.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Calcium exists in greater quantities than any other mineral in the human body. 99% of bodily calcium is located in the bones and teeth, where it provides structural stability and strength. Additionally, calcium plays a role in various cellular processes, including energy production, blood clotting, signal transmission between nerve cells and the excitation of muscles and nerves.

Daily Requirements
The German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends a daily intake of 1000mg calcium for adults (aged 20 and over). These intake recommendations are aimed at healthy people of normal weight; they do not refer to those with illness or in recovery. Individual requirements (e.g., due to diet, consumption of stimulants, long-term medication, etc.) may therefore be higher than the DGE's recommended intake.
The NRV (Nutrient Reference Value) set by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), which determines the amount that an average person should consume daily to cover their needs, is 800mg.
