Our organic MCT oil is derived from EU-certified organic, hand-harvested whole coconuts, which are grown on organic farms in Southeast Asia. Only fresh and undamaged coconuts are selected for pressing, while chipped and broken coconuts are sorted out. Before pressing, the hard outer shell and the brown skin are carefully removed so that only the fruit flesh is pressed. The coconut milk is also seperated from the flesh before processing. The extraction process, which takes place in the EU, is 100% mechanical and thermal, using methods such as centrifugation and distillation. We avoid the use of chemicals in this process, and we do not use artificial chemical esterification.
The result is a premium organic MCT oil that contains purely natural fatty acids from the two most effective MCTs caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10).
