10% Astragaloside IV
Our ultra pure, premium astragalus extract is derived using only water and edible ethanol, thus offering the full spectrum of nutrients and compounds from the astragalus root without contamination from controversial extraction residues such as methanol, acetone, or n-hexane. With an extraction ration of 50:1, the extract has a high concentration that is equivalent to 25g of regular astragalus powder. Laboratory testing guarantees that our product is comprised of 10% astragaloside IV. Astragalosides are considered the most important compounds of the astragalus root, and the concentration of specifically astragaloside IV is considered the key characteristic for the quality of astragalus products, according to the Chinese pharmacopoeia.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
Astragalus astragalus membranaceus, also known as milvetch, which originates from northern China and Mongolia, is one of the top ten plants in Chinese tradition and has been used here for thousands of years. The herbaceous plant with its multicoloured flowers belongs to the butterfly family. The yellowish coloured roots are also called "yellow guide" or "Huang Qi" in China.
Take 1 capsule with 200ml water daily.
