How are we different?

Our high-dose Ashwa Pro Forte contains the premium ashwagandha extract KSM-66®. Due to the standardised content of withanolides, this ashwagandha root extract has the most extensive series of research studies and clinical trials.

The leaves of the ashwagandha plant contain other ingredients, such as withaferin A, which is present in our pure root extract. At 5%, KSM-66® extract provides the highest naturally achievable withanolide content from a pure root extract. It provides the full spectrum of withanolides from the roots in their natural ratio. Higher concentrations can only be achieved by mixing with other extracts and no longer correspond to the natural composition of ashwagandha roots. The KSM-66® extract is obtained completely without ethanol or other solvents, as is usual with many extracts. For us, the usual pre-treatment of ashwagandha roots with milk is also avoided during production, making the extract ideal for vegans too. The manufacturer of KSM-66® is the only ashwagandha producer in the world with its own farms, production facilities, test laboratories and research centers.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a plant from the nightshade family. The name comes from Sanskrit and roughly translates as "smell of horse," as the roots have a strong scent that is reminiscent of horses. The term "somnifera" comes from Latin and can be translated as "sleep inducing" ("somnus" = sleep, "ferre" = to bring). In this formula, the roots and leaves of the ashwagandha plant are used and not the berry, which is poisonous in large quantities due to its alkaloid content and has a very bitter taste. The roots and leaves contain withanolides, the most widely studied phytochemicals in ashwagandha. These belong to the group of steroidal lactones and are similar to steroid hormones in their chemical structure.

Directions

Take 1 capsule with 200ml of water 30 minutes before going to bed daily.
