This unique premium functional blend contains 24 selected ingredients: natural building materials of cartilage and synovial fluid, important nutrients such as vitamin C, manganese, boron and silicon for the structure and function of bones, cartilage and to support the immune system plus selected plant extracts such as turmeric, green tea and willow bark. All the ingredients contained in our Arthriflam Joint Complex - with the exception of an organic propolis extract, which comes from putty resin produced by bees - are from purely plant-based sources or from vegan production by fermentation.
This functional blend is based on natural building materials for cartilage tissue and synovial fluid: a combination of hyaluronic acid and its precursor glucosamine as well as the purely plant-based chondroitin alternative phytodroitin™. In contrast to the usual production methods on the market, our glucosamine does not come from seafood, but from fermentation of non-GMO maize. Our hyaluronic acid is also obtained by fermentation, has an average molecular weight of 800 to 1300 Daltons and contains no micro- or nanoparticles. The natural cartilage component chondroitin mostly comes from animal sources (primarily from bovine, porcine or shark cartilage); our Phytodroitin™, however, is a purely plant-based alternative obtained from alga using a multi-step, patented process that mimics the structure of animal chondroitin.
This premium complex is supplemented by a full-spectrum turmeric extract with high doses of curcuminoids and valuable essential oils. This extract contains over 200 valuable ingredients from the turmeric root and has been obtained for us using patented PNS technology and special triple extraction. It contains the following purely plant-based antioxidants: our high-quality OPC from premium grape seeds with 95% OPC content, astaxanthin from the microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, which is obtained through patented cultivation in pure spring drinking watet, and a green tea extract with a full 99.8% polyphenols, 77% catechins and a full 47% EGCG. These powerful phytochemicals are embedded in three other plant extracts from water extraction: rose hips (at least 5% galactolipids), willow bark (at least 15% salicin) and the seeds of the tamarind tree. A special feature of this functional blend is a premium-quality organic propolis dry extract with 12% polyphenols.
The micronutrient selection of this unique functional blend includes the special active ingredient PureWay-C® (vitamin C coated with bioflavonoids and plant-based fatty acids), a vitamin E complex from sunflower oil with all four tocopherols and four tocotrienols, vitamin D as a vegan premium D3 raw material from an exclusive special production and vitamin A as vegan retinyl palmitate, which can be easily converted into directly bioactive vitamin A by all people. The trace elements zinc, manganese, molybdenum and boron are contained as particularly bioavailable zinc bisglycinate, manganese gluconate, sodium molybdate and sodium borate (borax) with a purity of at least 98%. The sources of silicon and selenium are formed by a silicon rich, natural bamboo shoot extract and organic selenium from nutritional yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) with 84% selenomethionine. Lastly, we use OptiMSM® as a source of organic sulphur, a premium active ingredient from the American quality manufacturer Bergstrom Nutrition. It is not produced by crystallization, but by a patented four-stage distillation process. Distillation allows complete separation of the MSM and results in an end product with 99.8% pure MSM without any impurities. OptiMSM® is the only MSM active ingredient in the world to be produced using this process. Each batch of OptiMSM is laboratory tested to ensure optimum purity, quality and consistency. This complex is rounded off with the amino acid glycine as a vegan pure substance with at least 98% purity and ubiquinone, the oxidized form of coenzyme Q10, which can also be produced by the body itself.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
