How are we different?

Our amla fruit (Indian gooseberry) extract Sarberry® is a patented premium raw material with a standardised content of the valuable secondary phytonutrients it contains. Conventional amla extracts are standardised with vitamin C as a biomarker. However, recent research has shown that amla fruits do not have a constant vitamin C content. The patented premium raw material Saberry® is one of the few amla fruit extracts with a standardised content of at least 10% of the phytochemicals β-glucogallin and 3% gallates, which studies have shown to be more important than vitamin C.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Amla fruit

The Indian gooseberry, also known as amalaki or amla fruit (Phyllanthus emblica), is the fruit of the tropical amla tree. The amla tree is sacred in India and is revered for its potent berries with their rich bioflavonoid content. According to a myth, the tree originated from the drops of amrita - an immortality elixir of the gods.

Take 1 capsule with a meal with 200ml of water daily.
